Community members map places of significance — fishing, hunting, gathering, ceremony — and rank them. Data lives with the community.
A community-led mapping exercise. The Chief starts an exercise from their community dashboard; members sign in and drop markers on places of significance, rank activities by importance, and add testimony. Markers, rankings, and testimony all live in rows owned by the community — nothing flows to industry unless the Chief later chooses to share aggregate insights.
Designed around the OCAP principle of community ownership: industry partners cannot initiate this module, cannot see raw locations, and have no read access by default. The Chief decides whether to share aggregate counts or density layers at any point.
This is a community-led module. No outside party is a participant. Markers, rankings, and testimony live in rows the community owns; nothing flows to an industry party unless the Chief later chooses to share aggregate insight — never raw locations.
The Chief enables it for the Council's own work.
The Chief may enable the module without inviting an outside party. The room exists; the documents are the Council's; the answers serve the Council's file. No disclosure decision arises.
